Claude Monet

For our art topic we have been learning about the French painter, Claude Monet. Monet was an impressionist painter who was passionate about capturing light and natural forms.

We used soft pastels to create a mood painting in the style of Monet. We were able to use our blending skills to merge together the colours from the soft pastels in order to make our art look vibrant and emphasise texture where needed. This also allowed us to add extra colour if needed.
