Growth mindset

This week we have been doing some learning around the growth mindset and how we can apply this in everyday practice. We created an effort meter in which we recorded how we felt at certain times and were also able to identify positive strategies to help us to overcome barriers. These children have really demonstrated that they understand the growth mindset as they have applied some of the strategies this week. They used a range of growth mindset strategies: talking to a partner, asking for feedback in order to improve, practicing in their own time and understanding that mistakes help us to improve.
