This half term some of our children really pushed themselves in their maths learning. Their mathematical fluency is fantastic and their ability to make links between concepts is also amazing. In maths we have been learning about the place value of four-digit numbers, negative numbes, rounding and Roman numerals. Our mathematicians for this half term were very confident in problem solving and reasoning through their ideas! Keep up the good work.

This means remaining positive, persevering, reflecting, improving and developing our resilience when faced with challenges or setbacks. This is crucial in order for us to be successful. Some children are consistently using their growth mindset strategies in their learning which has allowed them to make progress and exceed their targets.

Which growth mindset strategy do you like to use?
