Amber Class’ Visit to Sheffield

On Thursday 6th October we went on our visit to Sheffield. It was a sunny day and we were all very excited. We caught a tram into Sheffield City Centre and our first stop for the day was the Millennium Gallery. Two of the galleries that we went in were full of amazing and unusual art work. The third gallery had old objects that were made out of steel from which we learned about Sheffield producing steel. We ate our lunch in the Winter gardens after producing some sketches of the plants. We then went on to sketch the theatres, the Lyceum and the Crucible, the Peace Gardens and the City Hall. Once we had finished our sketches, we headed back home on a brand new tram. Well done to all the pupils that went on the trip you represented our school very well and you should be proud.
