P4C

This week in Amber class we had our first Philosophy for Children (P4C) session of the year. We watched a video about a monkey that skyped a girl from the U.K. and told her that we were destroying his planet due to consuming palm oil. We ended up discussing the question ‘Will we ever stop destroying animals habitats?’. It brought up some thought-provoking discussion with ideas such as humans are too selfish to stop consuming palm oil and even if we all turned vegetarian there is still the loss of animals in this way. image2
